ABOUT THE WORK
With her project Untitled Emilie Hudig portrays members of the nobility. She started the project as her grandfather and her mother are of noble descent. Hudig used a Polaroid SX70, a charming old-fashioned camera which instantly produces photographs. As a result, the person portrayed could approve or reject the image on the spot. The result of the project is in a way romantic, picturesque and detached. It conjures up a fairy-tale image of the nobility as imagined by the outside world. Anonymous images, without mentioning a family name, Untitled.
