ABOUT THE WORK
This print is part of the series Skype Issues. Skype Issues is a modern love story, that combines flowers with portraits. It tells the story of a long distance relationship that is falling apart.
This work is a portrait of Simonet’s crying lover, created by capturing the image on Skype. Simonet then used old and new techniques to distort the image. 

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Jean-Vincent Simonet (b. 1991, France) graduated with high honours from ECAL in 2014 before starting his career of mixing editorial, fashion and experimental photography. His personal work was exhibited at Pla(t)form 2015 in Fotomuseum Winterthur. He also won a Swiss Design Awards in Basel thas year. He lives and works in Lausanne where he juggles between commissioned photography and personal explorations. Simonet was selected as one of the Foam Talents 2015 and that year his solo show Maldoror was on display in Foam 3h.

ABOUT BUYING THIS WORK
Most photo prints have a small white border around all sides. For a framer this border is necessary to be able to frame it properly. The print will be carefully wrapped and send as an insured package. You will receive an e-mail with a Track & Trace code when the package is on its way. A copy with plexiglass is often on display at Foam Editions, the gallery on the third floor of Foam Fotografiemuseum.
