ABOUT THE WORK
‘My mother collected all the dust from her vacuum cleaner for weeks and mobilized all her friends and acquaintances to do the same and deliver the dust to her, so at one point there would be enough dust to create this image. A nice example on how your family can support you in the making of your work!’ - Anouk Kruithof
Anouk Kruithof is a young photographer whom has a good understanding of the artistic freedom within the photographic medium even stretches its borders. Her work could be seen as symbol for this, using themes as liberation, the metal detachment and discovering of possibilities by challenging unwritten rules, allowing coincidences to occur and playing games. Her work is not only intelligent, but also inventive, experimental, daring and cheerful.
