ABOUT THE WORK
Travelling around the world on various assignments, Marcus Koppen has become particularly interested in megacities. He is fascinated by how rapidly the cityscapes of these modern urban giants are changing, as well as their growing importance. What he finds most inspiring is the surreal, artificial atmosphere that takes hold of these cities at night.

The work is part of the series City Scapes. ‘This project started out a few years back and will be an ongoing project for years and maybe decades to come. The reason for this project is my fascination with the rapid change of urban landscapes in the Megacities around the world and the cluster in which Architects and Urban planners are trying to create living spaces and for the ever growing demand of shelter.’ - Marcus Koppen
