Foam Magazine #16: Talent (2008)

The third annual Talent Issue showcases the work of 12 young talented photographers aged between 18 - 35 selected from Foam’s annual Talent Call. Chosen from over 300 portfolios submitted from every region of the globe from Africa to Asia, Europe to South America - the Talent Issue aims to collate and investigate the future of photography.

Extraordinarily talented photographers can be found in all areas of the photographic arts, from documentary photography to conceptual work, the inclusion of twelve portfolios from all parts of the world gives a great opportunity to do justice to the richness and diversity of such a broad spectrum of talents.

Also included, an extensive interview with two of the most prominent Magnum members – Elliott Erwitt and Thomas Dworzak discussing candidly their backgrounds, careers, inspirations, influences and life strategies. Plus an ‘On My Mind’ feature from 6 cultural figures talking about images on their minds and plenty of book reviews.
