ABOUT THIS WORK
This work is part of the series Flowers - a series of very colourful and experimental images of flowers. For this specific work Simonet uses the same digital file for each of the ten prints, but the experimental technique creates small differences between each of them. The drips, watermarks and little color variations make each of them unique. The result is in-between photography and painting.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Jean-Vincent Simonet (b. 1991, France) graduated with high honours from ECAL in 2014 before starting his career of mixing editorial, fashion and experimental photography. His personal work was exhibited at Pla(t)form 2015 in Fotomuseum Winterthur. He also won a Swiss Design Awards in Basel thas year. He lives and works in Lausanne where he juggles between commissioned photography and personal explorations. Simonet was selected as one of the Foam Talents 2015 and that year his solo show Maldoror was on display in Foam 3h.
