ABOUT THE WORK
In this work (no.2 of the series Tautology) there is a complex relation between the form of an image and how an image arises.
In the Production Stills from Gábor Ösz film work, Tautology, the artist uses analogue and digital film loops. He filmed empty film projections in a space, looped the shots and filmed them again. In this way he creates a kind of Droste effect, an image-within-an-image-repeat.
