ABOUT THE WORK
‘Through the struggle and coming of age of this bunch of tulips, one way or another it looks more lively and interesting then a new bouquet. When I look at it, it moves me and I feel alive. It can also be because my sense of drama or my age, that I search for this type of scenes and gladly work with it.’ - Marnix Goossens
The work of Marnix Goossens is based on three key themes: nature, portraits and still life. Most of his photographs represent natural scenes. Herewith, Goossens focuses on the floral beauty and nature to be found in the human habitation. By the use of a technical camera, his photographs result in detailed, highly concentrated images.
