About the work
Andrea Grützner's photography explores urban spaces in a fresh way. In her series "das Eck," she captures Koblenz city from unexpected angles, highlighting the graphic elements of everyday architecture. Her close-up, abstract images transform ordinary postwar German buildings into painterly compositions that challenge our usual perceptions. Through her lens, Grützner breaks down functional spaces into visual puzzles that make us see familiar surroundings with new eyes.
