Foam Magazine #45: Talent is dedicated to showcasing the next generation of image-makers. Selected from the 2016 international Foam Talent Call — with 1,494 submissions from 75 countries across six continents — this issue presents the work of 24 outstanding photographers under the age of 35. Each portfolio is accompanied by an insightful essay, offering context and depth to the projects, together forming a striking overview of contemporary photography across cultures and disciplines.

In addition to the Talent portfolios, this issue features Foam Magazine’s regular sections. Unexpected Marriages highlights the collaboration between ISSEY MIYAKE and photographer Yoshinori Mizutani, while Toolbox dives into the collage-based process of Foam Paul Huf Award winner Daniel Gordon. The issue also includes an extended interview with Darius Himes, Head of Photographs at Christie’s, who shares valuable reflections and advice for the next generation of photographers.
